Ellison Center FULL-DAY Event

Professional Dangerousness: Expanding our awareness for more connected work Professional Dangerousness (PD) is a vital concept relevant to all human service providers, underscoring how professionals can inadvertently contribute to the challenging family dynamics they aim to help and serve. PD manifests in individuals, teams, organizations, and their broader systems, affecting mental health and efficacy. This full day session will be in two parts. For the morning, we will provide participants a comprehensive understanding of the concept of Professional Dangerousness (PD). We will dive into what PD is, how it shows up in practice, why it shows up and then start to consider what do we do about it. The afternoon will shift focus from merely comprehending PD to an in-depth exploration of how individually we experience and navigate PD.
